LEISURE: It’s not just children that enjoy ‘Soft Play’?

0

How many adults would admit to watching children jumping up and down on a bouncy castle or on a huge soft-play and wish they could join in …..but then clock the message ‘Children only’ at the entrance?

Diverse Abilities know just how that feels and are launching an event for grow-ups (or those still haven’t quite grown up!) to enjoy a soft play area this May.

Are you one of those child-at-heart adults?? Well this might be the event for you!

‘Big Kid Energy’, run by Dorset’s Disability Charity- Diverse Abilities will take place on Friday 22nd May and run from 7pm till 10pm.

Adults will have the chance to enjoy all things soft play; including slides, bridges and obstacles.

The site at the former Adventure Wonderland on Merritown Lane in Christchurch is sponsored by local radio station Bournemouth One.

It is operating on a ‘bring your own booze’ basis (BYOB), advising a sensible amount per person. (If drinks are being brought in, ID needs to be shown).

Head of Marketing an Events at Diverse Abilities, Cat Abbott said: “It’s a great chance to get together with some friends and act like a big kid, as well as listening to some of your favourite tunes”.

The music of the evening will  be throw-back tunes from the 80s through to the 2000s. There will also be other entertainment on the night.
