Dorset Police detectives are appealing for witnesses or footage of a serious assault in Bournemouth that is being investigated.
A 16-year-old boy that had been in a knife attack in Bournemouth, the Maclean Road area on Sunday 26th April was taken to hospital for injuries that were believed to be serious.
A full investigation is underway as two 17-year-olds from Bournemouth and Poole have been arrested and taken into police custody on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detective Inspector Neil Jones said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries in relation to this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have information that might assist our investigation”.
There will reportedly be an increased police presence in the area and the police are asking residents in the surrounding area who have home CCTV systems or doorbell cameras to check footage for anything that may help the investigation.
