Julias House children’s hospice is looking for 20 ‘outdoorsy’ people to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire.

The challenge will cover the three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales; Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The challenge will be 24 miles and over 1500m of ascent over 12 hours with the goal to raise money for Julias House children’s hospice. It’s planned as a four day trip from the 19th to the 20th of September.

The challenge is to raise money for Julias House. A charity dedicated to supporting the families of children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in Dorset and Wiltshire.

Sarah Agnew, Julia’s House Events Fundraiser says that the experience is “a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and raise vital funds for the local children and families that Julia’s House supports.”

The four days will also include pub visits and a more leisurely walk through the Inglewood Waterfall Trail.
