Summer has brought the sun and warm weather so we thought we would bring you some summer activities and events to enjoy, from art to dancing there is something for everyone this summer season.
As the warmer weather rolls in, we know that many of you will be itching to make the most of it and embrace the outdoors after more than a year shut away. To help you along we have brought you some activities that will be taking place over the next month or two.
BCP has events from the end of July all the way to the start of September – hopefully the sun will make quite a few appearances between now and then. To start we have The Power House Summer Popups which features 5 events and 5 different themes to bring something for everyone at Lower High Street, Poole Town and Poole Quay.

Next we have the Young Singers Showcase, bringing a selection of local singers and giving those just starting out a chance to perform in front of a real audience and those watching a great variety in musical performance at the beautiful Bournemouth Lower Gardens, you could even bring a picnic.
This event is free and available to everyone interested in music, it will be available throughout the school holiday period making it a good choice for families to attend. For more details on the event and it’s scheduling, click here.
Finally, we have the Dancing Terraces events at the Pavilion Dance South West building over August for anyone seeking to get moving and active after lockdown. These evening sessions are available for all ages and will be led by local artist with live music, including themes such as African, Commercial pop, Ballroom & Latin, Old Skool hip hop, Funk & Soul, Bollywood, Cèilidh and Charleston. Scheduling for these sessions is 7-9pm every Friday and Saturday through August, more details can be found here.
