In a Facebook Live video this afternoon, leader of the BCP Council Vikki Slade confirmed that garden waste collections should begin again next week (w/c 20 April).

The Facebook Live broadcast gave residents in the BCP area an opportunity to pose questions to Vikki Slade, who was also able to provide updates on council services and offer some guidance moving forward with the lockdown.
Garden waste was one of the popular concerns, owing to the recent spate of good weather during the lockdown. In response, Vikki Slade stated it was one of the first services they were forced to suspend in order to prioritise other services, such as recycling and refuse. However, she confirmed that residents could anticipate an announcement tomorrow of their intention to reinstate garden waste collection services next week. Residents will be notified after this point.
