0

To celebrate the release of the ‘Military Wives’ film on Friday 6 March 2020, Cineworld venues across the country are offering free regular popcorn for Defence Discount Service Members.

‘Military Wives’ is an inspirational story of friendship, love and support on the home front. As their partners serve in Afghanistan, a group of women come together to form the very first military wives choir, helping each other through some of life’s most challenging moments, while becoming a media sensation and a global movement in the process.

The offer is valid for the film’s opening weekend only, from 6th to 8th March, so book your ticket now.

If you are a Defence Discount Service member, it’s easy to claim your free regular popcorn:

  • Book your tickets to see ‘Military Wives’ on its opening weekend at any Cineworld cinema
  • Use your Defence Discount Service members account to request your free popcorn
  • You will be given a code to take with you to the cinema
  • Take your code to the concession stand at your chosen cinema, along with your ‘Military Wives’ ticket, to redeem your free popcorn.

After that, sit back, relax, enjoy your movie and share your popcorn with your loved one…if you want!

Keith James, General Manager of Cineworld Poole says: “Cineworld Poole is extremely grateful for the work that our armed forced do on a day-to-day basis, so we are happy to be able to give something back.”

Tom Dalby, Head of Defence Discount Service, said: “We are always looking for ways to give back to the Armed Forces Community and we are proud to be teaming up with Cineworld to recognise the amazing things that they do. The ‘Military Wives’ film will resonate with our audience and we hope that they can enjoy a little something extra.”
