Tributes are being paid to an elderly woman who has died after sustaining serious injuries in a traffic collision in November last year.
The victim, a 97 year-old woman, was a pedestrian in Belle Vue Road, Boscombe, when she was struck by a black Toyota Yaris at around 12.20pm on Sunday 10 November 2019. She sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she passed away on 18 February 2020.
Inspector Joe Pardey, from the Dorset Police Traffic Unit, has commented on the sad news, saying: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this difficult time. We are continuing to investigate this collision so we can establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
