Ping is known for her love of Malaysian food and flavours and now she is sharing this passion at her event at Tonic Social in Bournemouth. The night will bring a four-course meal for guests to enjoy, consisting of a variety of classic and modern dishes. However, the exact menu that will be served is being kept a secret, only known by Ping herself. The reveal will take place on 26 February, when the event is set to take place.

The evening will commence with guests being taken on a taste tour of her interpretation of the finest Malaysian food using locally sourced ingredients. Like other Supper Club events, guests will be sat together on shared tables.

Since being crowned the Champion, Ping has been appointed Malaysia Kitchen Ambassador. Additionally, she has her own restaurant in Selfridges called Ping Pan Asia Restaurant and is currently writing her second book. This comes after the success of her first book ‘Malaysia: Recipes From A Family Kitchen’, which was published in 2016.

The private cookery classes she runs and the Supper Club have brought her style of cooking to her many followers. Now Ping is pleased that she is able to extend this to people in Bournemouth.

She said: “Makan Club has been so popular in my home town of Bath and I had been looking at a number of locations to bring Makan Club to more people in the South West prior to selecting Bournemouth. The team at the Hilton and Tonic Social are fellow food lovers and we are looking forward to bringing the warmth of Malaysia to town in February and March 2020”

Tickets are available to purchase now for £45 per person. For further details you can visit the Tonic Social on Facebook , Twitter or on their website.
