St Edwards School are hosting a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 23rd November to raise funds for the improvement of learning facilities for students.
The fayre will take place from 11am to 3pm at the grounds of the school. The Poole based school have been hosting the event for the last three years and since then, it has grown in both size and popularity.
Students, staff, family and friends are all invited to enjoy hot food and Christmas treats such as mince pies and mulled wine for the adults. There will also be plenty of activities to take part in such as face painting and carol singing. Dorset Troopers, one of the leading Star Wars costume groups, will also be in attendance dressed in outfits from the films.
There will be 50 stallholders selling a variety of products such as crafts and gifts along with books, toys and jewellery. All funds raised will go straight to the improvement of school facilities.
Michael Antram, Headteacher of St Edward’s School, said: “Christmas is a special time of year and our Fayre is a wonderful opportunity for the school community to gather with friends, neighbours and visitors to prepare for the festive season ahead. We hope to see lots of people here to celebrate with us.”
Admission to The Christmas Fayre will be £2.50 for adults, £1 for students, and under 10s can go in free of charge. There will be a free complimentary drink upon arrival with every ticket that is purchased. For stall bookings, contact Juliette.
