Bournemouth Hospital Charity has announced it’s very first Jingle Bell Trail at Avon Heath Country Park on 7 December.
The Jingle Bell Trail is a 1km children’s treasure hunt through the forest. Each child will be asked to find all the letters to make up a mystery Christmas word. Once they have spelt out the word, one of Santa’s helpers will be waiting to give them an exciting present.
The charity is encouraging children to fundraise £30 for their trail to celebrate Bournemouth Hospital’s 30th Birthday and will be given their very own flashing red nose to get them in the Christmas spirit.
The trail is linked to the Reindeer Run which is back and taking place on the same day. Anyone can join the herd for a 5k canter around the grounds to raise money for the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals at Avon Park.
All participants will receive free reindeer antlers and, with a local DJ on hand to play classic festive tunes, this family friendly fun run is the perfect way to gear up for Christmas.
Entry is £8.00 per child (under 16) however any child signed up for the Reindeer Run will get automatic free entry to the Jingle Bell Trail if they wish to participate in both events.
All participants (including parents or guardians) will receive a free lunch provided by Rapid Relief. To join the festive fun, sign up here.
