Police call for anyone with dashcam footage of the fail-to-stop incident that happened in Poole to come forward.
The appeal is launched after a woman in her 20s was involved in a collision with a dark coloured Vauxhall Insignia on 30 September 2019. The woman was cycling on West Street, near to the junction with The Quay between 5.30pm and 5.45pm, when she and the car crashed and the car failed to stop at the scene of the accident.
Fortunately, the cyclist was not seriously injured after the incident occurred.
Police Constable James Hazell, of Poole police, said: “I appreciate the incident was some time ago but we have only recently been able to take a full account from the victim.
“We are continuing to make enquiries and I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or may have captured it on dashcam to please contact us.”
