Bluebell Close play area is now open again after an eight-week long refurbishment.
The newly refurbished play area now includes a toddler multi unit and slide, a basket swing, junior and toddler swing, spinner bowl, springy, boat and a dragonfly seesaw.
The play area in Mudeford, Christchurch commenced on 22 July 2019 with the work being completed on 20 September 2019.
The refurbishment is part of a £1.2 million investment
The improvements are part of the wider Christchurch Play Project which is a £1.2 million investment to refurbish a number of play areas across Christchurch with the first phase commencing in February earlier this year. Councillors agreed to fund the project to increase usage of the sites across the borough.
Other play areas in Christchurch which have been refurbished so far are Mudeford Quay play area, Burnham Road play area, Endfield Road play area and Highcliffe Recreational Ground.
