After opening at the end of May Slades Park Pavilion is looking for volunteers to help run its cafe.
Slades Park Pavilion – which is run by Active Dorset – provides an environmentally-friendly community space.
Active Dorset’s aim is to help improve quality of life in the county through promoting healthy living and participation in sport.
Speaking about the Slades Park opening Martin Kimberley, Active Dorset Chief Executive said: “Many people and organisations have been involved in bringing this ambitious project to fruition and would like to thank them all. BCP Council, their Parks Team, and the Seascape Team have been tremendous partners in delivering the Slades Park Pavilion project.
“It is the start of an exciting journey to deliver greater activity levels, improved physical and mental wellbeing outcomes for residents.”
