Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is seeking new projects for its Growing Places Fund.
The Growing Places Fund is a repayable loan scheme that encourages innovation, increased productivity, jobs and housing creation within Dorset.
The £9.7 million loan scheme is funded by central government, and designed to help projects which have a significant economic impact, and can quickly deliver tangible economic outcomes. In doing this, the Fund will deliver economic growth while supporting Dorset LEP’s strategic objectives.
The Fund is used where businesses are unable to access alternative funding for viable schemes. There is still money available to loan, and Dorset LEP is inviting private sector businesses and public sector organisations across the county to submit their projects to Growing Places Fund.
Success story:
Dorset based company, Field International Ltd, secured a £2,315,000 Growing Places loan, which safeguarded 50 jobs in Poole and allowed for the creation of a further 10 jobs, including apprenticeships.
