Two new seasonal routes from Bournemouth Airport to the Channel Islands have been announced for 2019.
Scottish airline, Loganair, will offer flights to Jersey and Guernsey, from April to October. This marks the carrier’s first operations from Bournemouth Airport.
Flight times:
Bournemouth to Jersey: 45 minutes
Bournemouth to Guernsey: 40 minutes
As part of Loganair’s Summer 2019 schedule, Jersey flights will run three times a week – Monday, Friday and Saturday – with weekly flights for Guernsey, on Saturday.
Loganair rebranded last year, with tartan tails on its aircraft, and traditional tartan uniforms for cabin crew.
Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair’s Managing Director, said: “This will be our first commercial presence at Bournemouth Airport and we look forward to our ‘Tartan tails’ being a regular sight over the South Coast”.
