VOLUNTEERING: Stour Valley Conservation appeal for volunteers

0

Do you have time on a Wednesday and/or Thursday to help out with conservation work in our nature reserves?

Join this friendly group of volunteers, led by a Ranger, with habitat management work. This is usually things like shrub cutting, hedge laying and tree work in the winter, whilst in the summer, it is usually path work, gates and clearing ragwort.
You might like to join the local Stour Valley group – Stour Valley Supporters who are a lovely bunch, dedicated to improving and carrying out essential works in the area.

Work takes place across our nature reserves in the North of Bournemouth:

  • Turbary common
  • Kinson common
  • Millhams mead
  • Redhill common
  • Hicks farm and others
