THEATRE: A unique evening of one-act plays coming to Bournemouth

Popular local amateur dramatics group Poole & Parkstone Players will be presenting an evening of one-act plays at Bournemouth Little Theatre in Winton on 15-17 September at 7.45 pm. The plays include:

  • Alternative Accommodation by Pam Valentine. Anna, a widow, is visited by her three middle-aged children who have decided that the family home should be sold and Anna move to a residential home or sheltered housing. But Anna has her own ideas.
  • A Dog’s Life by Pam Valentine. The play depicts the moment when a visitor chooses between four dogs in an animal shelter, meaning life or death for one.
  • Last Tango in Little Grimley by David Tristram. A local amateur dramatic society is in trouble with dwindling membership and audiences, and debts they can’t afford to pay. There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days and that’s sex! What can possibly go wrong?

The evenings will take place at: Bournemouth Little Theatre, Jameson Road, Winton, Bournemouth BH9 2QD on 15-17 September at 7.45 pm.

Tickets: £8.50.  Box Office: 01202 679390 or  Visit for more information on the evening and this exciting group of budding young actors and actresses. An Evening of One Act Plays
