Aldi beats Waitrose, Apple and Amazon to be named ‘Britain’s Favourite Retailer’

Supermarket, Aldi, has been voted ‘Britain’s Favourite Retailer’ in Money Saving Expert’s latest poll, beating supermarkets Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer.
Over 5,000 people expressed their love for Aldi in the poll that featured 40 retailers  including  global tech giant, Apple and popular fashion store, Zara.
Jonathan Neale, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said: “We’re delighted to be named ‘Britain’s Favourite Retailer’ in Money Saving Expert’s latest poll. At Aldi, we’re committed to providing the best possible value to our customers without compromising on quality and the findings of this consumer survey are testament to this.”
The latest win follows a long line of new initiatives rolled out by the retailer including the opening of new format city stores and a brand new ecommerce platform, which launched in January 2016 (aldi.co.uk).
Aldi was also named Which? Best Supermarket of the Year for a record fourth time in 2015, Multiple Retailer of the Year at the FPC Fresh Awards and Supermarket of the Year at the Retail Industry Awards.
