Genuinely moving and unashamedly nostalgic, You’ve Got A Friend plays Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts, on 27 April in a celebration of the life and music of two of the greatest songwriters of all time – James Taylor and Carole King.
From the creators of the smash hit West End show The Simon & Garfunkel Story, this brand new concert-style show tells the delicate story of a deep and lasting friendship by drawing on their remarkable legacy – a combined songbook that includes perennial classics such as I Feel The Earth Move, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You), Fire & Rain, You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman) and, of course, the beautiful title song, You’ve Got A Friend.
The cast includes seasoned, West End performer Emily Jollands as Carole King, with Bill Lennon as James Taylor and a full cast of talented actor-musicians who help narrate the show.
