Eastleigh FC moved to within just 1 point of the play off positions with a convincing 3:1 win over Barrow at a packed Silverlake stadium last night (12 April). Goals from Luke Coulson (9), James Constable (26) and Ben Strevens (90) assured the home crowd went home happy despite Barrow Andy Cook (60) pulling one back for the visitors. The Spitfires held on and with just four games remaining, with the first at home to Altrincham this Saturday (16 April) before the long trip to Halifax Town the following Tuesday (19 April) they know only wins at these two fixtures will give them a chance of a well-earned playoff position.
