A Bournemouth Town Centre car park has come under new operators who are offering free parking for 3 weeks following the announcement of Freedom Day last week.

Monday 19th July was hailed as “Covid Freedom Day” and marked the start of what many have considered as the world finally opening back up, those who have been eager to get back out and embrace the social life and freedom of the outdoors are already planning their trips down to the centre of town.

Britannia Parking has prepared for the public to arrive in the town centre with a new free parking scheme for three weeks starting from Covid Freedom Day. The company hopes to boost business for retailers, restaurants, pubs and other firms now that the lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Following the partnership with Britannia Parking, the BH2 car park will be offering free parking to motorists for 3 hours with a with the option to park all day for £3 charge. This offer is part of the company’s “Free for Three” scheme, this was created as a result of the companies success in managing Exeter Crescent’s leisure complex car park which was welcomed by traders and business leaders.

The ‘Free for Three’ offer is set to last from Monday 19 July all the way to Sunday 8 August and will be available to everyone regardless of if they are using the businesses at BH2 or not. This is the start of future special offers from the car park management to attract shoppers, visitors and commuters back to the town centre and will feature a new price structure for the car park.
