The latest announcements today (8 March 2020) from Public Health England have revealed that two people in the BCP area are confirmed to have contracted COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
As exclusively reported earlier today by BH Living, the latest case of Coronavirus was linked to a gym in the area and this has now been confirmed in an email to members from ‘The Gym’ which operates out of The Nuffield Estate in Poole.
In the email, The Gym says that it will close temporarily in order to undertake deep cleaning, saying that the welfare of members is its top priority.
The email says “Unfortunately we have been made aware that a member of The Gym Poole has been diagnosed with the Coronavirus. Your welfare is of the utmost priority to us, so we have taken the decision to close the gym temporarily”
