Dead Ringers Live is set to come to Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts on Tuesday 5 May.
For the first time, the BBC Radio 4 programme will be taken out of the studio and performed live on tour. In the current political climate, there’s never been a better time to watch the unique show on stage.
As one of the most influential and critically acclaimed radio shows of the last 20 years, Dead Ringers has seen some of the biggest names in comedy come through its ranks. Created by comedy polymath Bill Dare, it has poked fun at the great, the good and the ridiculous without censor.
The show will star the Dead Ringers dream team – Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Lewis MacLeod and Duncan Wisbey – bringing their radio studio to life. Special visits are expected from Donald Trump, Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Vine and John Humphrys, all given the Dead Ringers treatment.
The show will be a mixture of classics including the unique Dead Ringers take on The Archers, combined with new sketches written on the move as major events evolve on the day.
Tickets are and more information are available on the website.
