Police Officers are issuing CCTV images after a group of people left a restaurant in Bournemouth without paying for their food.

At 7.30pm on Monday 30 December 2019 four adults and two children ordered £198-worth of food and drink at Urban Garden on Exeter Crescent.

After their meal, the two women and children of the group left the restaurant through a rear exit.

The remaining two men stayed and ordered more drinks. They then told staff they were going outside for a cigarette.

The men were seen leaving through the same rear door, before running down the stairs and into Bournemouth Gardens.

Police Community Support Investigator, Richard Frew, of Bournemouth police said: “We have made enquiries to identify the group, but these have so far proved unsuccessful.

“They left without paying and have made no attempt to pay the outstanding bill since, leaving the restaurant with a financial loss of almost £200.

“As part of my investigation I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of two men I would like to speak to and I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police via email or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190203720. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
