A new book has been published which features little known corners of bliss around the Poole area. Oakdale Library Gardens, amongst other little known places has been included.
111 Places in Poole That You Shouldn’t Miss by Katherine Bebo describes it as a ‘secret garden with weighty tomes’, and says that ‘these gardens are only small but are an incredible use of space, and go to show that a little imagination goes a long way.’ All the work of volunteers, the gardens have been a work in progress since 2013, with new spaces being added all the time.
The book is said to be the ultimate insider’s guide to Poole, featuring interesting and unusual places not found in traditional travel guides.

Oakdale Library is open Monday 10am – 6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday 10am – 1pm, closed Thursday and Sunday.
