Remembrance Sunday brings a charity 5k walk along Bournemouth beach raising funds for the armed forces charity SSAFA.
The event welcomes everybody including families, dog walkers, wheel chair users, anyone who is able to cover the distance. Walkers are encouraged to start the walk between 9am-9.30am so that all participants will be able to pay their respects. There will also be a service at the Bournemouth War Memorial in the Central Gardens that is open to the public.
The route begins at pier approach, walkers should make their way across the 2.5km of beach to the end of Boscombe pier. Participants will each be given a token once they reach Boscombe before returning to the starting point to receive your medal for finishing.
Entries for the charity walk on 10 November is £12.99 and at least £5 will be donated directly to SSAFA.
