Bournemouth’s Arts by the Sea festival returns for it’s 9th year on 27th-29th September 2019 with a brand new concept ‘Mind Matter’.
The main event will take place in Bournemouth’s lower gardens but will also feature other artworks around the local area.
The 2019 festival includes artworks and installations inspired by various mental health experiences and issues aiming to explore and challenge different attitudes towards this taboo subject.
Included in the festival will be features from a variety of the best regional, national and international arts specialising in areas such as dance, film, theatre, performance, visual arts, spoken word, literature and music.
Launched by BCP council in 2011, there are now various supporters and partners of the Arts by the Sea festival including, Town Centre BID, Bournemouth University , Yellow Buses and many more.
Following the festival’s success in previous years, this year is set to be bigger and better than ever and the event is encouraging more and more people to participate in the arts.
Some of the features and events are free to attend, where as others are ticketed.
