Following great success from last year, the Hobourne 5 Mile Road Race will be returning this year on September 29th.
starting and finishing at Hobourne Holiday park, the 5 mile course will allow people of all abilities and ages to take part.
After great success last year raising just over £3000 which was shared between Macmillan Caring Locally, Fortune Centre Riding Therapy and Abby’s Heroes, this year the run will raise funds for Dorset Mind and Diverse Abilities Dorset.
Phyllida from Dorset Mind said: “we are incredibly grateful to anyone who takes up challenges in support of the charity as it enables us not simply to raise vital funds to continue our mission but it also enables us to raise our profile, with anyone taking part acting as a champion to reduce stigma raise awareness and promote well being. Working with our community to elevate our mission is vital to the success of the charity”.

The entry fee is £13, or £11 if you are registered with UK Athletics Affiliated. The starting gun will sound at 10:30 so if you want to take part or just watch then be sure to get down there in plenty of time.
