The free kids’ club for pre-schoolers will return next Wednesday as the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole celebrates its 50th anniversary.
In line with the celebrations of the Centre’s anniversary since opening in July 1969, this month the club will be themed around birthday celebrations.
The free two-hour session, run by the award-winning Crafty Arty World, will provide various themed props such as a giant birthday cake, birthday bunting and party table toppers.
Children attending will be able to design their own bunting with fabric pens and 3D elements. Additionally, there will be a soft play, interactive games and story telling to enjoy from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Little Fins will be located in an area outside Beales department store in the shopping centre. It provides a comfortable and safe environment for children to play in.
The sessions are hosted every third Wednesday of the month and will run until October later this year. Each month, activities will be based around a different theme.
John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, said: ‘’We’re very excited for our birthday-themed kids’ club this month and hope to see as many children there as possible to help celebrate 50 years of the Dolphin.
“The two-hour kids’ club provides parents with the perfect opportunity to encourage their little ones to get creative and interact with others.
“Not to mention that it also enables local parents to get to know one another while their children play.’’
Booking is not required to attend the club.
