Bournemouth International Triathlon takes place on Sunday 8 September, starting at 6am.
Entries are still open for those interested in the event; which is touted as a PB smasher due to its flat profile.
There is both a sprint and Olympic length triathlon open, and if you don’t fancy the tri there is an aquathlon, aquabike and long swim to choose from.
The swim takes place in the sea next to Bournemouth pier, before you run towards Boscombe’s pier on the promenade, the cycle then takes in Ringwood before returning you to Bournemouth.
If you are worried about open water swimming you can join the coached session on 18 August at 9am by Bournemouth Pier, it costs £16 but be quick as places are limited!
