Join in the festivities at the third annual Poole Maritime Festival this June, with a variety of activities and shows across Poole bay and harbour.

The public festival opens with the Poole Harbour Boat Show from 7 to 9 June, featuring motorboats, yachts and RIBs, and stunning views of Brownsea Island, all within very short walking distance of various cafes, bars and restaurants.

Rockley Poole Park will host sport and water sport activities for primary and secondary school pupils, as well as free taster sessions for all later in the month.

Harry Paye Day Pirate Festival returns on Saturday 15 June, inviting everyone to don their best pirate rags and celebrate the day Harry Paye took revenge for the attack on Poole.

Or for something calmer, Poole Museum is holding The Swash Channel Wreck Talk on the same day, and Scalpen’s Court will host a discovery day about the history of Poole on Sunday 30 June.

Local Marine and Maritime businesses will also have the opportunity to attend events and workshops with the theme ‘Looking to the Future’ from 3 to 7 June.
