Poole BID has recently announced that a new director has joined its board. Jeanette Walsh, owner of Truly Scrumptious, will represent Area Six (covering Poole’s Town Quay).
The board of directors works alongside Justin Hundley-Appleton, the Poole BID manager, to deliver the business plan created when the BID was formed in 2016.
Last month, the board of directors lost Joanne Bateman, following the closure of Quayside Emporium.
Truly Scrumptious is an independent, traditional sweet shop famed not only for stocking a huge variety of treats, but for making fresh fudge on the premises.
Jeanette Walsh commented:
