Following the recent temporary closure of the Twin Sails Bridge, engineers will be on site all day on Wednesday 2 January to replace the electronic sensor on the Poole side.
This means the bridge will remain closed to all road traffic, including pedestrians, on Wednesday as people start to return to work.
Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journeys. Poole Bridge will be operating as normal.
Poole Council adds that they apologise for the inconvenience.
