Poole based charity receives grant from Talbot Village Trust

Essential Drugs & Alcohol Services (EDAS) has been presented with a £7,000 grant from Talbot Village Trust, to purchase educational materials, and continue to deliver training courses to their service-users.

The training courses are designed to help learners get back into work, education or volunteering, by building confidence, developing teamwork skills and fostering a better understanding of community activities. Maths, English and IT skills are focused on during training and Mindy Bartlett, CEO of EDAS, says the grant has been “invaluable” in helping learners enhance their future prospects.

Talbot Village Trust will be accepting applications for funding from both previous and new applicants.
