On 1st/2nd October 2016 the Bournemouth Marathon Festival returns to the seafront, providing runners with the ultimate challenge. If you’re up for a beautiful, challenging coastal run entry details are below.
Last year 11,000 runners enjoyed a glorious two days of the Bournemouth Marathon Festival raising an estimated £500,000 for charity and an amazing seven course records were broken over the weekend last year. 2016 is bound to be just as successful with several events happening across the weekend, including the full marathon.
The route of the full marathon gives runners the chance to run the Boscombe and Bournemouth piers, finishing to a great buzz and cheering crowd. For those of us not up to the riggers of a marathon run there are plenty of vantage points from which to cheer on the brave souls taking part. View the marathon route here.
