A new Motor Show opens 18th May 2018 at the Hampshire Cricket Ground between 11.00am and 7.00pm, designed to help organisations and members of the public to make informed purchasing decisions in a changing marketplace. Leading dealerships, vehicle owners, mopeds, motorbikes, bicycles, fleet tools and more.

The Southern Sustainability Partnership announces the 18th May as the starting blocks for the region’s new Eco Motor Show – ‘Big Green Wheels 2018’. The event, which is scheduled to become an annual date in the calendar, is designed to educate organisations and members of the public as they attempt to continue to make informed purchasing decisions in the fast-changing transportation landscape.

The day will provide a platform from which to showcase the very latest in eco cars, mopeds and motorbikes – as well as Toyota’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle, the Mirai and the Limited Edition VW LX1. Leading regional dealerships will be on hand to answer questions, as well as vehicle owners and different industry experts to cover businesses, public sector and members of the public.

The event will provide an opportunity to test drive cars, mopeds and motorbikes as part of their ‘try before you buy experience’. A Tech Pavilion will cater for transport-related products, services and fleet management solutions.

Vehicles covered will include Toyota, Lexus, VW, BMW, Nissan and Kia.

Director, Anita Potten: “Big Green Wheels essentially provides the ability to compare from leading brands, talk to experts and ask those questions which make you a more informed buyer. Whether you favour new or second-hand, outright purchase or leasing, the decision can be among the largest investments you or your business will make and result in a vehicle you may have to live with for some time. Our aim is to make that process simpler, instil confidence and separate fact from fiction.”

To ensure the wheels continue to roll throughout the whole event, visitors will also be able to relax at the Pit Stop Bar for a drink or a bite to eat, or visit ‘Arthur’ the eco coffee station, and then enjoy some shopping on the Artisan Food, Drink and Eco Shopping Mall.
