Bus engineer Nathan Clarke has been named Employee of the Year by Poole-based operator, Morebus, winning £1,000 worth of vouchers.

Nathan has been praised for his dedication and willingness to ensure the company’s buses are in the best possible shape, in order to keep people moving across the region. The Morebus depot in Poole was named the best in the country at the most recent UK Bus Awards.

Morebus managing director, Ed Wills, said:  “I have heard nothing but good from Nathan’s colleagues – he is well-respected within the whole of the engineering team, and across other areas here. Nathan has a ‘can-do’ attitude, always with a smile on his face. He is consistently on-hand to assist here in Poole – but his helpfulness doesn’t end there. He will assist in other locations whenever he can. Above all, Nathan is completely dedicated to keeping our fleet on the roads – committed to ensuring our customers are never left without a bus. Congratulations Nathan. This award is richly deserved, and I wish you every success in the year ahead”

Nathan Clarke said: “I am deeply honoured to have been nominated and to have received this award. It is especially meaningful to me, as it reflects the shared commitment both the engineering and operations teams bring to our depot. I appreciate this support from my colleagues, peers and managers in helping me succeed. I remain committed to upholding the standards and values this award represents.”
