Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, will host a wordless performance for babies and their grown-ups on Wednesday 12 February.
The show will introduce toooB, a curious and friendly shape-shifting creature who is not quite sure where she’s landed or who she is. As toooB explores the world around her she learns how things work and invents games to play with the humans around her. She is strange and beguiling but familiar and full of fun.
The show is a gentle sensory adventure where a performer is costumed inside a giant caterpillar-like tunnel creation, magically manipulating it before playfully emerging from the tunnel and inviting the audience to play.
toooB has an original soundtrack, captivating movement and is designed to be a perfect introduction to theatre and dance for the very young encouraging empathy and playful interaction.
The show, created by Angel Exit Theatre, is tailored for children ages 16-24. It will be shown at 11.30am and 1pm.
