BUSINESS: Dorset Business Growth launch new event

Dorset Growth Hub is launching Dorset Growth Fest 2019 which will take place on 9th October at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.

Dorset’s premier business support agency, Dorset Growth Hub, is holding a one day event for Dorset businesses who are looking to scale up and take their businesses to the next level. 

The exclusive event will take place on Wednesday 9th October 2019 at AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium and will showcase homegrown and international innovators and achievers who will share the principles, skills and mindset needed for entrepreneurial and business success. 

The line-up of Dorset Growth Fest 2019 includes prestigious cross sector business leaders including Amy Dicketts the Product Manager of Monzo, Kate Peregrine the Global Head of Social Media for Dyson, Jeff Mostyn AFC Bournemouth’s Chairman and Lara Morgan Pacific Direct Founder.

Guests of the event will also hear from Dorset success stories including Jim Cregan from Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, Jamie Sergeant from This Is Crowd, Jason Gault from TeamJobs, Claire Burnet from Chococo and Ross Thornley an entrepreneur and business founder.

Jim Cregan, the Co-Founder of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee said: “We want to help projects and events that give businesses the motivation to achieve awesome things. Business experts will give masterclasses during the day

During the day, those attending can take part in masterclasses from a variety of business experts who will give advice and knowledge in specific areas of business growth. These specific areas include: Leadership, Branding, HR, PR, Chatbots, User Experience, Digital Specialism, Audience Building, Influencer Marketing and Business Marketing.

Nick Gregory the Programme Manager of Dorset Growth Hub said: “Growing a business isn’t easy and it doesn’t happen overnight, but with this free event we aim to inspire businesses on their way to success, whether that is exploring future trends, raising their profile, expanding their team or reaching new audiences. The talks and workshops will give attendees all the tools and advice needed to succeed in their own businesses.” 

Dorset Growth Fest 2019 is free to attend although booking is essential as there are limited spaces for the masterclasses. 

The day will take place as part of BOMO Festival which brings together conferences in technology, creativity and entrepreneurship across Bournemouth throughout September and October.
