This January Dorset Wildlife Trust are offering memberships for £2 a month offering locals the chance to have a positive impact on the preservation of nature in Dorset whilst enjoying the benfits of membership.
The promotion invites locals to join the trust and its community of 27,000 people. The trust offers new members exclusive experiences such as guided birdwatching experiences, out-of-season Brownsea Island trips and online talks by nature experts. All members will also receive the Dorset Wildlife magazine and families will be offered fun and educational content.
Dorset Wildlife Trust also has 42 nature reserves and four visitor centres across Dorset, offering plenty of exploration options for new members. The trust has plans this year to create more space for nature across the landscape as well as in its nature reserves while working alongside conservation organisations and local landowners.
Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Conservation Director, Imogen Davenport said: “For over 60 years, our members have been the backbone of Dorset Wildlife Trust.
“With one in six UK species now at risk of extinction we must act locally to protect our patch. By joining us, you’ll help expand and restore habitats, boost species abundance across Dorset and inspire other landowners to follow suit.”
This membership offer lasts until January 31st with annual memberships for individuals starting at £2 a month, joint memberships at £2.25 and family memberships at £2.50.
