Hengistbury Head has gained a new feature to help spread the appreciation of nature and the outdoors to visitor and schools.
The new “Discovery Den” has opened at the well known ecological site, this addition is aimed to help local visitors and schools to get closer to nature at a place well known for it’s biodiversity. The new visitor attraction has been funded through a partnership between Maurward College and BCP Council, with Dorset-LEP giving around £70,000 towards it.
