The Dorset Seafood Festival has a wide range of produce, music, fish with a firework display and a line of top chefs to reel you in Hook, Line and Sinker!

Dorset’s only free seafood festival promises to make the opportunity to attend quite the catch with an offer of quality fish and shellfish, fine local produce, enjoyable live music and all complimented by a fireworks display on Saturday evening.

Poole seafood festival is a celebration to appreciate the town’s fishing heritage and provide the modern area a two-day look into it’s proud history on Poole Quay. Top chefs will host cookery demonstrations on the Seafood Stage so there’ll be plenty of opportunities to sample some local delicacies and if you are looking for some extra delights then you can try out the special Champaign and Oyster Bar.

While the fish may be the highlight of the festival, there is far more on offer for everyone. Poole Seafood Festival also incorporates local cheeses, gins, beers and ciders with an on-site bar, not to mention the busy market stalls stocking everything from themed clothing to jewellery, art and accessories. So if the seafood doesn’t strike your fancy then there’s a mouth-watering array of street food traders serving burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, kebabs, ice creams and desserts

There’s a nautical theme to the weekend’s live music stage with brilliant sea shanties from the area’s top buoy bands, the Wareham Wreckers and Dorset Wrecks who will be joined by other talented artists for unforgettable performances. If you think that is good, then be sure to catch the fireworks show on Saturday night alongside a performance by top tribute act UK Queen to bring the evening to a great finish.

The festival is free to attend, opening from 10am until 9pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
