NEWS: Arrest following an assault in Bournemouth

Police have arrested a teenager regarding an assault with a knife in Bournemouth at Slade’s Farm on Saturday.

On Saturday 21 August at 4pm, Dorset Police received a report of a teenage boy being stabbed at Slade’s Farm. The 16-year old was found by officers and the ambulance service on Wallisdown Road near the University Roundabout with some facial injuries which were non fatal and was taken for treatment at the hospital.

A full investigation is underway according to detectives and the area has been cordoned off to allow thorough examinations of the area.  Police are asking anyone who was in the area of Slade’s Farm and may have witnessed the incident to get in contact and assist the investigation.

A 17-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested under suspicion of being involved but has been released on police bail while the police continue their investigation.
