A local school has asked parents to be vigilant while schools are closed after a man approached two girls in the woods at Strouden Park on Wednesday 18 March 2020 at around 3.10pm.
In the disturbing incident, the man asked the girls if they wanted him to expose himself. The girls ran off but on looking back, witnessed him with his hand down his trousers. The man has been reported as mixed race, aged between 20 and 30, wearing blue and white chequered trousers, a backpack and a black scarf covering his face. The girls described him as having a ‘baby’ voice.
With the schools having been closed to comply with government regulations regarding social distancing, children may be even more vulnerable so extra vigilance may be necessary.
