LOCAL NEWS: HIIT-ing the mark for Julia’s House

BH Live and Julia’s House are creating a HIIT Squad to tackle a two-hour High Intensity Interval Training challenge at the Littledown Centre, Bournemouth, next month to raise money for Julia’s House, and they want you to get involved.

Participants will be guided through a fun, fast-paced interval training session by Adrian, Mina, Nicki, Claire and Sue, all instructors from BH Live, making sure everyone has a great time, stays motivated, and digs deep to help Julia’s House smash their target of £60,000.

While the HIIT Squad works their magic, other BH Live staff will be taking part in a sweat-inducing, all-day cycle challenge at their locations at the Littledown, Pelhams, Stokewood, Queen’s Park, Corfe Mullen and Sir David English, hoping to boost the success of the event even further.

AFC Bournemouth boss, Eddie Howe, has teamed up with Julia’s House CEO Martin Edwards, BH Live CEO Chris Symons and other business leaders across Dorset and Wiltshire, to take part in their own HIIT Squad challenge. It’s a cause Chris feels strongly about:

“Julia’s House does fantastic work supporting families during some of the toughest times they will ever face. If we can help support their work in some small way by harnessing the energy of a HIIT class and channel that into some amazing fundraising too, then we are on the way to collectively making a huge difference to the lives of the people in the communities we serve.”

Tickets to be part of the Julia’s House HIIT Squad are £10 and all proceeds will go towards funding two nurses for a year, making a life-changing difference to the local families the hospice supports in Dorset and Wiltshire.
