Dorset’s disability charity, Diverse Abilities, is hosting its networking breakfast at Colten Care’s Bourne View.

The event will take place on Wednesday 11 March from 8am to 10am. Focusing on community engagement, guest speaker Alice Smee of Hoburne, will discuss her Sahara Trek challenge.

Corporate fundraiser at Diverse Abilities, Naomi Richards, commented: “Our networking breakfasts are a brilliant way of encouraging your staff to engage with the local community and support vital charities, all whilst boosting your company’s corporate social responsibility.

“This event also offers the opportunity for businesses to maximise their exposure and meet others in their local business community. All kindly hosted within the excellent facilities of Colten Care.”

Alice Smee added: “I’m very much looking forward to speaking at Diverse Abilities networking breakfast.

By the time the event comes around I will have returned from a 100 km Sahara trek raising funds for the charity. I will also be available to answer questions about getting involved in fundraising campaigns and the benefits of working in partnership with local charities.”
