WHAT’S ON: Have your say on the future of the BCP Council services

The BCP Council hope to ensure that everyone in the community has the opportunity to get involved to shape the councils services in their local area.

On Monday 13 January the council will be on the road to ensure residents have their say on the Community engagement and consultation principles draft.

The draft will show the Councils plans to engage and consult with their communities in the future.

Residents are encouraged to have their say, either by chatting with one of their team at the engagement event or by completing a questionnaire in any of the BCP Council libraries, or fill out a survey online.

Councillor Lewis Allison, Cabinet Member for Community, said: “Listening to local people and giving them the opportunity to shape the decisions we are making about their communities is a fundamental priority of this council. If you want to have your say, now is your chance to make suggestions about how we can keep you informed and involved in future plans.”

Following the consultation, a draft Community Engagement and Consultation Strategy reflecting community feedback received will be prepared and presented to Cabinet in July.

You can go online to take part in the survey from 13 January here

The closing point to have your say is on Sunday 12 April 2020.
