Get ready to take the plunge! The Ocean Film Festival World Tour comes to Christchurch and Poole.
The Ocean Film Festival is a collection of short-films featuring the best footage from above and below the ocean surface. Witness mesmerising marine-life and amazing deep-water cinematography, in an evening dedicated for sharing peoples love of the ocean.
The tour our will screen over 2 hours of the most inspirational, educational and entertaining films related to the ocean from independent film makers from across the globe. And will include a unique selection of films of varying lengths and styles covering topics such as the oceanic environment, marine creatures, ocean related sports, coastal cultures and ocean lovers.
The vision of the festival is to inspire you to explore, respect, enjoy and protect our oceans.
The characters you will meet have dedicated their lives to the ocean in one way or another, and their stories will both intrigue and amaze. There will also be a free prize draw for the audience and an ‘and a celebratory, ocean-loving atmosphere is guaranteed.’
The tour will visit the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne on the 18th September, The Regent Centre, Christchurch on the 2nd and 17th October and The Lighthouse, Poole on the 18th October.
