Local artist Stephen Bishop is displaying key coastal inspired paintings at the RNLI College in Poole this summer.

From the 1st of August to the 30th of September the works will be available to view and purchase with the Poole-based artist donating 25% of sales to the lifesaving charity.

Speaking about showing at the award winning hotel and home of RNLI training, Stephen said, “It it is a pleasure to show locally.”

He said he was thrilled to be showing the paintings at the location, adding that, “Traditional gallery spaces can be rather exclusive, so it is fantastic to give the paintings a chance to be seen by a wider audience.”

Stephen describes his art as mixing painterly abstract qualities with a profound love for colour.

Inspired by the Dorset coast, the ‘What seas what shores and what islands’ exhibition will showcase an array of vibrant and unique oil paintings.

Entry to the exhibition is free and any purchases of paintings will be supporting the RNLI in rescuing those in difficulty out at sea.
