I have been a councillor for 4 years and have been honoured to represent the residents of Boscombe East & Pokesdown during that time. I was born in Boscombe Hospital and lived in Gladstone Road from the age of 5 and my family still live in that house today.
As a business owner in the tourism industry I became involved in setting up the first Bournemouth Air Festival in 2008 and really enjoyed the challenges and obstacles that we had to overcome in order to produce an amazing, now very famous, air show. This encourages me to stand for council to help keep the town moving forward, although I never imagined at that time that our very own ‘Cherries’ would have reached the Premier League which has now well and truly put Bournemouth on the worldwide map.
I am passionate about Boscombe East & Pokesdown as I have very many fond memories of growing up in this area and am always willing to listen and help residents as best as I can.
